April 4th 2009 we'd like to remember little 5-month-old Makalah Rodgers. On April 4th of last year her Mother placed her in the bath tub and watched her slowly drown. Why? Rozlynn Rodgers told police "she didn't want to be a mom anymore because she couldn't go to parties if she had to take care of the baby". RIP sweet baby girl. Were so sorry you never had a chance, we love you.

Eternal God
Eternal God, who sends consolation to all sorrowing hearts,
we turn to You for solace in this, our trying hour.
Though bowed in grief as our loved one departs from our midst to enter into peace of life eternal,
we reaffirm our faith in Your compassion and Your ever-present love.
May we bear our sorrow with trustful hearts,
and knowing You are near, may we not despair.
Into Your hands we commend the spirit of our beloved.
Body and soul are Yours, O God,
and in Your presence we cast off fear and are at peace.
"There is no death, what we call death.
Is but surcease from strife;
They do not die who we call dead,
They go from life ... to Life."
Our thoughts are ever with you
Though you have passed away.
And those who loved you dearly

I cant believe what happened to this little angel!! My 13 month old daughter Laycee was murdered by my ex boyfriend...what is this world coming to where these monsters are taking these innocent lives. people who are supposed to love and protect them are the ones hurting them It makes me sick. its so sad can we trust anyone anymore ..it tears my heart out... Makalah is now surrounded by nothing but love and angels..
Happy Easter sweet Makalah. Your time on this earth was so short but I know you will have found love in heaven. No-one can ever hurt you again. RIP Makalah.

How could anyone ever tell you
or possibly ever begin to explain

for the time you spend in so much pain
Some times when your mom and dad
are upset or don't know what to do
they look for a place to let off steam
and they find it when they look at you
They strike before they stop to think
of the kind of damage that will be done
when they raise their voices or a hand
to their precious daughter or their son
With hands that hurt and words that sting

Hopping all around
He is so quite

I'M SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH
JESUS CHRIST THIS YEAR
I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below;
With tiny lights like Heaven's stars
reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular
please wipe away that tear;
For I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear;
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.
For I have no words to tell you
the joy their voices bring;
It is beyond description
to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me,
